Bali is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Indonesia with unexploited beauty, lush fields, beautiful beaches and friendly locals. If Bali had better internet, I would have happily spend the rest of my life there.

How much does it cost you to stay in Bali?
Staying in Bali isn’t very expensive. The guesthouses can cost you around 12000-15000 IDR. Except for some some nice hotels, they can easily cost you over a thousand dollars. But usually, you can get a double room for only $40-50 per night.
The food is also very cheap. The street meals are available for as low as 6,700 IDR. Whereas, a local meal can cost you more than 13500 IDR. Western food is relatively expensive but is still quite affordable.
If you want to travel and discover the place, local transport is very cheap and taxis are available for around 65,000 IDR.
Most famous activities that people do on this island include surfing, hiking or going to dancing shows. It can cost you around 15,000-300,000 IDR.
What are the best activities to do in Bali?
- Visit the temples
Bali has beautiful Hindu temples and they are a lot of them in every city. It’s considered as one of the best attractions of the place. If you are up for temples, then go for the Mother Temple and the Nine Directional Temple.
- Adventure Sports
Bali has some very adventurous sports like Bungee jumping, hiking, paragliding, horseback riding, mountain cycling, and jungle trekking. These are a few things that you can try but don’t forget to do Bungee jumping because it’s one-of-a-kind life experience.
- Party in Kuta
When you are ready for some party and shopping, head over to Kuta which is more like the Tijuana of Bali. It has narrow streets with hundreds of stalls that sell faux brands and replicas. It also a good place to get yourself some serious collection of souvenirs. Unless you want to shop, there are tons of other places that you can go to in Kuta.
- Boat trips
Sunrise boat trips are the amongst the cliched tourist activities in Bali, but it’s great to travel through the water and watch dolphins swim through the crystal clear water.
- Scuba diving
Bali has some beautiful reefs that makes it a perfect diving spot. The sights are beautiful and there are plenty of fish to see.
- Visit the Spa
When you are done with travelling, hiking and diving, it’s time that you get yourself some pampering. There are some special Balinese spa treatments that you may have never heard of before that use various spices and herbs.
